Who can Benefit From Chiropractic Care?

Anyone!  If you want to an interference free nervous system to give you the healthiest life possible then you can benefit.  This includes chirldren, athletes, older folks, and anyone with special needs.

How long does the chiropractic process take?

Everyone heals differently, so results will vary from patient to patient.  This depends on the severity of the problem and how long the problem has been going on.  We at First Choice Family Chiropractic will tailor a plan to fit your needs to get you out of pain and healthier as quickly as possible.

Will I have to go for the rest of my life?

Some patients opt to continue with some type of Chiropractic maintenance.  It's best to catch any problems early on before they become debilitating.  Also, regular check-ups keep you feeling great.

Are adjustments safe?

Of course!  A New Zealand study concluded that chiropractic adjustments are "Remarkably Safe".  Taking over the counter medication is 100 times more risky than an adjustment.

Can I adjust myself?

No.  Some patients can make their joints "pop" but that's not an adjustment.  Even your Chiropractor must consult a colleague to benefit from Chiropractic care.

Why do children need chiropractic care?

Chiropractic care is very beneficial to children.  They can be as young as the day they are born to receive their first adjustment.  The reason that children need to be adjsuted is because the nervous system is what controls the growth and development of the body.  During the birth process, no matter how natural,  there is trauma to the small spine and nervous system.  Children who are adjusted from birth or early on in their life have healthier immune systems, develop their muscle tone more evenly, have less ear infections and are generally healthier overall.

What are some conditions that Chiropractors treat?

Chiropractors can treat many different conditions.  To name a few: headaches, ear infections, eye fatigue, neck pain, back pain, posture problems, scoliosis, colic, arm and leg pain, stomach problems, cold and flu symptoms, allergies, ADHD, lack of energy, etc.  The reason that chiropractors can treat so many things is because we directly affect the nervous system.  When there is irritation to the spine through the spinal column then there is syptoms throughout the body.
